Baseballs:

**Jim Thome- He returned to Cleveland for the first time since last season, and he responded going 3-5, just a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. He hit his 5th Home Run of the season, driving in his 18th RBI, and Jim is now hitting .257 on the year.

**Chris Davis- Chris went 2-4 at the plate, with a walk, he drove in his 43rd RBI, and is hitting .264.

**Miguel Gonzalez- Miggy didn't need the run production, but he threw 6 2/3 innings, giving up 2 runs, (2 earned). He walked 2, struck out 5, and now has a 2.61 ERA, with 2 wins.

**Ryan Flaherty- Ryan went 1-5, but that hit was the big shot of the night, hitting his 3rd Home Run of the season, driving in 3 runs, giving him 10 RBIs. He is hitting .196.

**Adam Jones- Adam went 1-3 with 2 walks, he scored 2 runs, and is hitting .294.

**Wilson Betemit- This guy is not as good as he shows against the Indians. 1-2 with 3 walks, and is hitting .255.

**Matt Lindstrom- Matt threw a scoreless inning, he has a 2.42 ERA.

**Kevin Gregg- Kevin finished the game off, throwing 1 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out 2. He has a 3.72 ERA.

**Johnny Damon- Johnny had the best game of his Indians career, he went 3-4 for the night, but his highlight came in the 3rd inning when he made a big diving catch into the stands. And with where I was sitting, I saw it perfectly. He is now hitting .233.

**Asdrubal Cabrera- A-Cab ignited the Indians offense, hitting his 12th Home Run of the season, driving in his 43rd RBI, and is hitting .280.

**Jack Hannahan- Jack went 1-4, hitting his 4th Home Run of the season, driving in his 23rd RBI. Jack is hitting .240.

**Carlos Santana- Carlos walked 2 times.

**Indians Bullpen- The combination of Cody Allen, Esmil Rogers, Joe Smith, Tony Sipp, and Chris Perez worked 6 innings, giving up 1 run, (1 earned), they walked 3, and struck out 7. Believe it or not, the Indians had a chance to get back in the game, and it was because of the bullpen.

Goofballs:

**Derek Lowe- He was terrible, just flat out stunk. He threw 3 innings, giving up 9 runs, (9 earned), walked 5 men, and did not record a strikeout. Derek raised his ERA to 5.04, and lost his 8th game.

**Indians Offense- 2 runs, on 9 hits. 2 times they had the bases loaded, and left 6 men on base. Had a chance to come back, and make things interesting, but they completely blew it. Very frustrating.

**Asdrubal Cabrera- He made a mental error that gave the Orioles 2 other runs, by trying to throw out Thome at 3rd base. Now on the surface, it would be a good idea, but he made an off-balnce throw, and everyone was safe, instead of getting one out.

**Jack Hannahan- Jack struck out 3 times.

**Matt Reynolds- Hat trick for Reynolds, striking out 3 times.

On Deck:

Despite how bad the game was live, I had a blast with the Roack and Blast Fireworks special, featuring the Beatles. At the end of the day though, the Indians are still 3 games in back of 1st place, but at some point this team has to start to click, and I am including the pitching, with the hitting. Thank goodness the defense has still been solid all season, but these guys have to band together, and not put themselves in such a deep hole. The best part is there is still another game to play, and it starts Saturday evening, game at 7:05 PM, airing on STO, with Indians On deck at 6:30 PM. Chris Tillman (1-1, 1.00) will take on Zach McAllister (4-1, 3.03). The game will air on WTAM 1100-AM if you can't see it on TV, and it all starts with a win on Saturday, and you build from there.
