2-5, 8.31 ERA (!), 52 IP, 75 H, 22 BB, 24 K

We simply can't keep this bum in the rotation. Either release him or move him to be the long reliever guy to take over for when Jimenez loses another game.

NOW we all know why the Red Sox had to get rid of this louse. Yes let's cut him, the Sox pick up most of his contract anyway.

Oh, just one small defense of Lowe, he should not have given up all those runs, Acta needs to take responsibility for not knowing when to take a pitcher out. He's done this all season long, leaves the pitchers in WAY TOO LONG!!!

When you give up 9 runs without getting an out in the 4th inning, it's hard to know how to take him out sooner. Starting pitchers are getting paid to go at least 5 innings, usually 6 innings every game. With Jimenez and Lowe in the same rotation, we'll destroy our whole bullpen if we take them out any sooner.

The Braves are the ones who are picking up a lot of Lowe's contract.

Fausto can't be as horrible as Lowe has been the last few months....can he?

Who knows, he hasn't faced a game situation since last September. If and when he gets to the USA and goes through his own spring training the quickest he might be in the rotation would be mid to late August so by then will it really matter? Plus if he gets a suspension like the other guy for Miami who got caught he might not even be ready for the majors until September, if then.

Yes, he can! Besides, I doubt there is ANY chance he'll be available before the season is over.

Not just Jiminez. Tomlin and Masterson too.

Yes people, Masterson has had several short outings this season.

If the starting pitching can't carry this team then they are in a lot of trouble because the offense certainly can't.

Lowe pitches to contact but everything he threw was up last night. Pitching is a lot like real estate ........ location, location, location. He doesn't have the kind of stuff to blow it by anybody so he uses his sinker to get groundballs but when his pitches are up he gets bombed.

The bad thing is that most of our pitchers aren't doing all that well except for Zach McAllister. McAllister has really pitched well for the Tribe. It's hard to believe that he came from the Yankees for Austin Kearns. That is one deal at the trading deadline that has worked out for the Tribe.

This homestand is going to tell us a lot about the team and if the first game tells us anything the Tribe is in trouble. That's too bad because the Detroit Tigers are beginning to put it together and are on a role. The pitching staff has to carry the Tribe and if the staff can't then 3rd place could be where they finish.

I sense sarcasm, but yes I do believe that. The majority of the AAA starting pitchers should be able to perform better than an ERA of over 8. It's not exactly asking for too much.

Gomez is pitching well down there since he's been sent down, and Kluber and Seddon have been solid the whole season. I don't expect any of them to be amazing, but improving from Lowe is just such an easy task.
