Losing five games in a row at home is inexcusable. This team came in tonight with a defeated attitude after being swept by the Dodgers. Madison Bumgarner did not pitch a great game, but he pitched a strong game, only to not get a decision. Serigo Romo who has been so reliable is very unreliable, giving up a big, clutch two run homer. This is the second such homer in two games. My feeling is that if the previous pitcher is throwing well why not let him pitch the eighth inning? I believe Penny had enough in him to pitch two strong innings. It is criminal for Romo to hang pitches that can easily be hit out of the ball park. Using Casillia is a major mistake. He is not a confident closer. This will prevent the Giants from making the playoffs.
Little Timmy is pitching tomorrow, and that could very well be another loss for the Giants. They stubbornly continue to do things that lead to failure, and the fans should protest by not coming to the ball park. My question is, why Lincecum?
