Did Walt really just cap Mike? What a crazy ending to episode 7! Walt has really gone off his rocker trying to blackmail Jesse into cooking again.

I could write an essay on the episode but I won't.

This is the first time in a while I've seen Walter White, and not Heisenberg.

What makes this show great is that every single character is a true a-hole. There are no sympathetic characters and none are presented as such.

It's the complete opposite from a bonehead show like Lost. On Lost, they tried to make EVERYONE a sympathetic character by making the characters appeal to a certain demographic through societal stereotypes. On this show, 99.999% of people watch and think, "I could never be that person." And that's why it works so well.

On the comedy side, it's the same as Seinfeld. They were are annoying people that you rooted against. And it's what made it great.

Walt's slowly losing his mind if not already lost it. I can't believe he bought two SRT-8s for him and Walt Jr. Chrysler/Dodge must have some kinda tie in with the show, haha. Hank drives a Jeep Commander.

I always liked how non-flashy Mike was with his clapped out Buick Century, Lesabre and an 80's Dodge Diplomat. And to trust that Todd guy as his cook partner, well that speaks volumes of Walt's logic at this point.

I wonder how Walt's demise will be played out next year. Will it be Hank, Todd, or the methlamine buyer? Knowing Vince Gilligan it's going to be sadistic like Gus Fring's demise. I think it'll be grim, like dying in the toilet with his you know what in his hands(paraphrasing The Godfather) type of deal.

I wouldn't call Hank an <asshole. Originally he was portrayed as your basic <redneck racist cop, but as the seasons went on it's obvious that he is the "good guy" of the show along with Jesse.

Walt is no longer sympathetic, but Jesse, Hank, and even Skyler are meant to be empathized with.

agreed.

It has been interesting to see Jesse's morals evolve while Walter's have deteriorated. Skylar is simply just a skank.

Or it just might be cancer....

I used to hate Skyler also, but the fact that Walter has become such a monster, you really can't blame her anymore for acting the way she is.

Bingo!
That's the way I'd write it.
His wife already said she's waiting for it to return.

Walt smokes meth for the first time and dies in a car accident.

Hank or Skyler will kill Walt. Maybe Jesse. Unless Walt kills Skyler or Jesse first.
