Big arm but it seems like he doesn't miss many bats.

Well Atlanta is one of the better teams. Still I would've thought he'd go more than just two innings with his new club.

Jon Heyman just tweeted that an unnamed scout described Eovaldi as "not ready for the big leagues, and might be a reliever."

I've read that people within our own organization also felt the same way about Nate.

Regarding my only 8 posts, life does not revolve around posting on message boards.

Eo's 3rd start against the Mets today:

5 IP, 0 ER, 2k

That's more the Eovaldi they were hoping for :)

You left out the 4 hits and 6 walks in 5 innings. But he did give up 0 runs so kudos. I like the kid.

2.00 WHIP & 0 ER

Either got REAL lucky, or got some timely pitching.

I think he may have put 2 guys on in the 6th and got pulled. Anyway, you're right. Either lucky or really clutch when it mattered. Didn't see any of the game.

leading 7-0 helps, but thats still a lot of walks with a lead like that
