This just came out, don't know how many of you have seen it. Very good letter to the fans of the Dodgers and not something we would have ever seen from the former owner. I really think we have some good things to look forward to in the years to come. It may not be this year but things are looking up for us.

I read the letter. Lots of good stuff in there to make you think the front office cares. I am the worst one to trust authority, in my 34 year working career almost all of the people above me, took advantage, cheated and mistreated me. So I take ALL CORRESPONDENCE like this with a gran of salt. I sure hope we can at least put a potential wining team on the field soon.

I'm impressed by the immediate attention given to so many small details of the entire Dodger Stadium experience. There's a definite effort being made to return the entire Dodgers organization to 1st Class status.

Johnny,

I read the letter, it was very impressive. There is also a link to send in suggestions-why not start wit asking for a show of good faith-DFA that worthless piece of gar-bage Uribe.

Dodgers still have a 4.5 game lead over the 2nd place Giants. Dbacks are catching fire. They've won 5 in a row.

That's why there are unions.

I'm thinking they might keep Uribe around, after all, he knows where all the good restaurants are in both leagues. You know that is pretty good info to know on road trips.

Johnny,

the only reason for keeping Uribe around(besides the obvious money they owe him), is to make the rest of Neddy's busts look good by comparison.

The good old days - remember when the Dodgers could outbid everyone else? :)

From mlbtraderumors.com - November 8, 2010.

"Juan Uribe - Dodgers. Uribe could be the Dodgers' new full-time second baseman assuming they non-tender Ryan Theriot. But his versatility means he could also fit with the Twins, Mariners, Mets, Astros, Cardinals, Padres, Orioles, Reds, and of course back with the Giants."

OK, in that case he is doing a job well done. I just hope then, he is not setting an example for future signings.

nwLad,

it's amazing how lucky we get when it comes to signing Ex-Giants. Since Linscum seems shot, he'll probably Ned's next target.

Ned doesn't get targets any more. He's a puppet for Kasten - I know, I read it right here.
