Is he a good fit? I think not. He has talked retirement multiple times in the past. He has 5 HR'S all at Minute Maid Park, he seems to be about as valuable (maybe a little more) as Bobby Abreu. Thoughts?

I agree with fridagates. But what is the solution? Getting healthy (Kemp, Ellis and ETA) will really help. Headley is a nice fit, but with The Pades trade him to us?

If he comes I hope he is motivated and performs. The guy was just made aware of the trade last night and what he has said to the Houston press is, "I need some time to think about it and talk to my wife." He is in Chicago and his family at his ranch in Houston. He will make his decision tomorrow a day or two after he was made aware of the possible trade.

He is an improvement over anything that we have @ 1B. But, really what are we going to get for 1 Garrett Gould- a projected end of the rotation pitcher if he ever makes it to the show.

It does not look like he wishes to move West. But I do not think he is much more than an expensive fill in.

I don't think Lee is the answer either. I don't see any answers for 1b this's season. Who do you think we can get?

Hi Blueencino I don't know who is available. I would think Morneau may be on the block, also why are the Blue Jays not trading Adam Lind? It will be tough to get a 1B, and/or a 3B. That is why when Youk went for two horrible players, I did not understand why we passed on him.

He's so loyal to the team that he doesn't want to be traded! :)
