....Theo and Co. got in his head

Crawford was always a guy with good contact abilities who didnt walk all that much

Theo and Crew probably started telling him to walk more and be more patient. Made him stop doing what he was naturally good at

Just like they've now done to Castro

Where did Theo stash Hoffa's body?

Was Theo in the Grassy Knoll?

Was that Theo's studio they used when we "landed" on the moon.

Get some new material puh-lease.

You are reading way too much into things.

He was anti-Theo before he was our GM so he gets a pass.

Theo is in love with the almighty walk.

He thinks that is what won him rings in beantown. Actually it was 2 roided up monsters hitting 3rd and 4th in the lineup putting up 1.000 OPS's that won him the rings

Ever since the crackdown on roids, boston has been a really expensive team that hasnt won a thing.

Same with his mentor Billy Beane. Since the Mitchell report the A's have been an afterthought. People give Beane the credit for the moneyball system of finding undervalued assets. When in fact all he did was find a few roided up monsters to win MVPs for him while batting in the heart of the order

Castro has hit 300+ his entire life
He hit 300 as a 20 yr old rookie
He follwed it up by hitting over 300 his 2nd yr
He was hitting well over 300 a couple months into this season

It doesnt take pitchers 2 or 3 years to get a book on a guy. It doesnt take that long to get figured out

The braintrust got to him. This is a result of Theo/Jed/Dale and whoever the new "hitting" coach is trying to fix what wasnt broken

all players go into a slump from time to time, and you are correct in
the fact that when this happens, too much coaching is as bad as no
caching.....look at the start of the season for Albert, look at Hamilton,
Castro will be fine, he got a hit tonight and took a walk....look for him
to rip up the Reds......

His swing has been terrible lately
hesitation....no confidence in what he is doing...terrible timing

Those are grade A symptoms of too much bad advice

And why was Crawford hurt this year? Did Cherington conspire with the team physician? Did Bobby V. put cooties in Crawford's Gatorade?

Crawford cracked under the pressure of Boston last year and suffered through injuries. That's why he struggled.

Except he didn't really walk all that much last year, so if they told him to do that, he failed at it anyway.

Now I know who to blame for my arthritis & bad knees, it's all Theo's fault!! All this time I thought it was the years playing violent sports, when it was really Theo from the beginning.

Why or an opinion? You just don't know.
