I cant stand this guy (DP), but I just dont see how you get a conviction without one shred of evidence.

There is NO physical evidence in this case (that I am aware of) and the trial is based solely on heresay and conjecture. This guy could bring a huge lawsuit once acquitted, theyve had him locked up for over 3 years.

(ps.........I wish/hope that they could find something to convict him with, I just dont see it though.)

This case needs a life Imitates art scenario!! On the classic NYPD Blue series There was an episode where a murderer was going to walk because the detectives did not have enough evidence!! The following dialogue between a young, "by the book " detective, James Martinez & veteran detective, John Kelly, took place. Scroll half way down! The conversation begins w/ John asking Jim what was on his mind! It ends w/ John saying "may God forgive me...."

Peterson needs to do some serious confessing about the two murders, Katherine's & Stacy's!!

DP is a skumbag and no doubt committed two murders. Sadly, I dont see any evidence whatsoever. I hope it doesnt turn out that way, but I do think he walks................

I seriously doubt race or make up of jury will come into play. I have a little more confidence in our system to get it right, and fairly so.

DP is an arrogant sob and marries women half his age. His most recent wife is missing, never been found (several years now), leaving several children in the wake. His wife before that died of "mysterious" causes, a drowning in the bathtub, ruled, at the time, an accidental death. That is the death for which he now stands trial. (The body had been recently dug up and re-examined, resulting in an analysis which said it could not have been accidental.)

Since you are from Louisianna, you probably havent gotten much coverage of this Chicago area case. Anyway, not one single piece of evidence (from what I know) has ever been proferred that would suggest DP complicit.

This I think is much more than just a missing white girl case. Actually, several women are dead/missing. I wouldnt consider this a nancy grace special, I dont watch that drivel anyway, but since youre familiar, maybe you do.

I can't stand those types of shows either (Nancy Grace, etc) To hear her talk, she's the only person in America that cares about missing or abused children. She screams at the people that agree with her, I watched her a couple times and never again. If I want to get yelled at by a chick with a southern accent, I'll just call you frida......;)

I say let him walk, but he should be prohibited from being able to marry again. And I think by now, no woman is going to touch this guy so that should be punishment enough.

For TWO murders? I hope he never feels free air again...and I don't think he will.

He will walk because the state screwed up from jumpstreet. ANd some needy woman with no self esteem will end up with this guy because there are a lot of stupid women out there that will get with him for all the wrong reasons.

If there is no evidence, what else can you do? Like I said, maybe put a ban on him getting marriage licenses or something. It would be a unique punishment.

He doesn't have to be married to kill somebody so that won't do anything.
