    • Global Warming Record Hurricane Season

Wasn't that the mantra from the experts? The experts said we'd have a record hurricane season because of the global warming. They've been saying that for the past 5 years and yet, hardly any hurricanes in the past 5 years.

We've always had climate change... Duh. What you fail to understand, the pundits have been claiming we'd have record numbers of hurricanes due to man's destruction of the environment.

Still waiting....

Are you still waiting for ice sheets that were thousands of years old to melt off in a blink of an eye?

Nah...

I feel bad for those polar bears who couldn't get any poon-tang.

Why is poon-tang a banned word? Good God.

No matter what the climate does somewhere, someone will say it is because of global warming or climate change or whatever they are calling it now.

Here is an article 3 months later in the same newspaper that says there will be more hurricanes.

They have it all covered whether there are more or less hurricanes.

Science? These guys ridicule everything about science without having the first clue about it and then when science and doctors save their lives they thank a pretend god. What sad creatures.

It's a good thing you're not painting everyone with a broad brush......good job on being scientific with your response.

And there's nothing scientific about trying to debunk science by posting conflicting articles. There's rarely ever anything scientific from you guys, just partisan rhetoric and ignorant unscientific logic. "Look! Record snowfall! Snow proves climate change is wrong!" And a 5th grader with a C in science could tell you that you need warm weather to create snow in the first place. But whatever, you want to prove me wrong? Make a case against climate change in your own words that's purely scientific.

You're lumping everyone who disagrees with the "proven" science of man made global warming with people who focus on anecdotal information.

There are people on both sides of the coin who point to anecdotal instances to claim proof of something. People make mistakes and are ignorant.

Global warming is such a political flashpoint that rhetoric like that is bound to occur. I was mearly pointing out the obvious that the so called "science of global warming can be flawed."

I am a very scientific thinking person. I see flaws in the global warming logic, because there are. It may yet come to pass that humans contribute to global warming, but as the days pass more and more flaws crop up in global warming alarmist propaganda.

95% of the information people post on here that is against the theory is just linking to articles that they don't even understand. And when they're not posting articles that prove very little, they're just talking about 'alarmists' and Al Gore, which is entirely ad hominem.

But science itself isn't up for a popular vote, and the fact is that CO2 absorbs sunlight and causes warming. That's fact. Humans emit CO2 and which affects the climate. That's fact. None of this is debatable. The only thing that is debatable is how much humans affect the climate and what measures should be used to chip away at what eventually could be a serious problem.

Exhaling CO2 is bad for the planet. Got it. Tax it. Feel good that you did your scientific part.
