Yes a reds fan.
Johnny Cueto, and Phillips were both snubbed. Cueto had an equal if not better numbers than the pitchers who are going (9-4, with a 2.26 ERA), and just got plain out right got snubbed from the manager who still just cannot forgive and forget. That's what jesus taught us, but it's clear Tony doesn't follow the good book.
An Phillips? He's commited the least amount of errors than anyone else in the NL at 2b, and is hitting near .290, with 11 HR, and 46 RBI's (in the top 5 in each offensive category for 2b in mlb). The fact that Dan Uggla got in, whose batting in the .240's just proves how messed up this voting system is (don't even get me started with the SF ballot box stuffing fiasco)..but that's a whole different issue
Your ex-manager could've shown some balls and manned up. Instead he held a grudge like a 4 year old, and snubbed 2 players who deserved to be there.
I agree with Cueto whole heartedly when he said this: “I see that I have great numbers,” he said. “I thought the way I pitched this year, I’d have a chance to go to the All-Star Game. I don’t know what happened. I don’t if know the manager of All-Star Game is pissed at me because I went out with one of his girlfriends.”
Your ex-coach is the devil, plain and simple.
