Yes a reds fan.

Johnny Cueto, and Phillips were both snubbed. Cueto had an equal if not better numbers than the pitchers who are going (9-4, with a 2.26 ERA), and just got plain out right got snubbed from the manager who still just cannot forgive and forget. That's what jesus taught us, but it's clear Tony doesn't follow the good book.

An Phillips? He's commited the least amount of errors than anyone else in the NL at 2b, and is hitting near .290, with 11 HR, and 46 RBI's (in the top 5 in each offensive category for 2b in mlb). The fact that Dan Uggla got in, whose batting in the .240's just proves how messed up this voting system is (don't even get me started with the SF ballot box stuffing fiasco)..but that's a whole different issue

Your ex-manager could've shown some balls and manned up. Instead he held a grudge like a 4 year old, and snubbed 2 players who deserved to be there.

I agree with Cueto whole heartedly when he said this: “I see that I have great numbers,” he said. “I thought the way I pitched this year, I’d have a chance to go to the All-Star Game. I don’t know what happened. I don’t if know the manager of All-Star Game is pissed at me because I went out with one of his girlfriends.”

Your ex-coach is the devil, plain and simple.

I'd rather have Phillips, but Uggla does have better offensive numbers.

Regarding Cueto, I could've told you that there was no way in heII Tony would pick him.

It's good to be the King.

larussa only got to pick 5 pitchers, 2 of them he had to pick cuz as the only representatives from those teams to be allstars

the remaining 3 who he chose to pick over cueto were clayton kershaw, jonathon papelbon, and cole hamels, the only argument you can have with that is larussa maybe should have picked cueto over papelbon, but if you go that route, vogelsong should have been picked over cueto as well but didnt make it

blame the players for not voting cueto in during the player vote

What I find hilarious is Reds/Brewers fans and organizations have accused the Cardinals of being cry babies but I only see the Reds crying. Maybe you Reds fans should have voted more and neither player was even voted in by other players, that speaks volumes about how their peers see them. If Larussa really was holding a grudge why didn't he pick Holliday over Bruce? Stop blaming Tony, look in the mirror btw Dusty and the Reds are making themselves look ridiculous over this issue by making it a big deal, mlb is laughing at them

Wow think about it!

The fans voted Uggla and the players voted Altuve. Yep, definitely Larussa's fault that he's not an all-star!

As for Cueto, no one likes him. Not the fans nor the players! Plus he pitches 2 days before the All-Star game so he wouldn't be able to pitch anyway!

Also, LaRussa chose Bruce OVER Holliday even though Holliday has a much higher batting average and is neck and neck with Bruce in many categories.

Quit whining reds fans!

Maybe if you had won the World Series, your manager could have chosen.

Maybe you Reds fans should've gotten off your collective buts and voted for your players. You have a solid team with some exciting players and yet you can't outdraw the Colorado Rockies. Bravo.
