Is there any Card fan on this planet that hasn't long ago realized Jay is a better CF than Rasmus?

He claims Rasmus and Greene were good and just not given a fair chance and says Jay and Holliday are horrible.

and that yadi is lazy because he doesn't try to blowout his hamstrings on a routine groundout.

Exactly! Can somebody please delete this stupid thread?

One of the best moves the Cardinals have made in the past 15 years was to dump Rasmus. He was a cancer that would have eventually wreaked serious havoc on the ballclub if left alone.

Jay buries him as a defensive CF, and even though his bat isn't there yet I have confidence Jay will become a really good contact hitter.

NO! This thread is hilarious. And it isn't because of Cards fans, it's the Blue Jays fans. This thread should be bronzed.

Well said. And in addition to the on field performance, and the off field whining, there was the bizarre situation where Colby thought his dad was a better batting coach than anyone on the Cards' staff, lol. How's that assessment working out for Colby?

That Gordon article is great.

"His career contact rate of 53.9 percent (as of April) was the worst for position players in the big leagues since the folks at Fangraphs began charting this statistic in 2002."

“At least in terms of recent baseball, no non-pitcher has swung and missed with Colby Rasmus’ frequency."

Greene was run out of town.

#10 screwed him up.
