"Remember it was mentioned that the Brewers didn't have a shot in heck at signing Greinke and that Greinke would want to go to a real contender and that he didn't like Milwaukee all that much to begin with despite the joe beer guts of this board saying different?"
Greinke was traded to a contender, it had nothing to do with where he wanted to go. I don't think anyone here anticipated him signing an extension in the middle of the season before he went to free agency. Greinke was quoted as saying he really enjoyed his time here and would be open to signing here in the off-season, we'll see how it plays out, though DM would be very foolish to offer Greinke some ridiculous contract to get him to come back.
"it was mentioned that KRod was a TERRIBLE RP and NO ONE would even THINK of wanting him at the deadline?
Wow, that guy was spot on. Especially when he said Huston Street and Brett Myers were better and how both of them would be wanted at the trade deadline, unlike KRod."
Actually, no he wasn't. He made those comments months ago when K-Rod did have value, he has made no such comments since his recent struggles that have diminished his trade value. If he were to say it now, no one would disagree because it would be correct.
This would be the same as some idiot claiming the season is over when a team starts 0-1, and then saying see I told you so, when August rolls around and they're 20 games out.
