So I spell a manager's name wrong that managed over a decade ago and you go off about it, yet here you are and you can't even spell "Lucroy" correctly, or "Hardy" for that matter. On top of that you still think draft picks can be traded don't you, this is baseball you <moron, not football, there is no trading draft picks.

That and to trade Lucroy, who was having his best season because we need to make room for a career minor leaguer is one of the dumbest things I've read here in a long time.

You need to lighten up ... take sedative and get a good night's sleep and be happy!!

You need to take about a dozen sedatives and never wake up.

Speaking of Lucroy, I have seen multiple posts on jsonline about how they should move Lucroy to 1b and keep Maldanado behind the plate. It is cool to have a very good defensive catcher, but Maldanado is still a backup. Lucroy has never played 1st, probably not too hard to learn but still

Lucroy is an average defensive catcher with good offense, that's what you want in a starter. Maldonado has been a pleasant surprise so far, but he's really just a backup like you said.

Hart has been great defensively at 1B. I like him better at 1B than I do in RF. Probably have to move him back to RF next year though. Not sure what else to do with Gamel. Aramis has 3rd and he doesn't profile as a shortstop very well.

"I have seen multiple posts on jsonline about how they should"

Yeah I'm gonna stop you right there. Opinions on JSonline are worthless and when it comes to the Brewers, ideas brought up are usually idiotic and rarely happen.

I don't think they'd move Hart off of 1B to accommodate Gamel now that they've got him playing there.

May never know what they have in Gamel.

Lucroy has earned the starting catcher spot, plain and simple. This year he's taken his hitting to the next level, there's no moving him anywhere to make room for anyone. He is the starting catcher and will remain the starting catcher for years to come. What Maldonado has done is nice, but I just doubt he continues to produce like he has. He'll be a great backup and pinch hitter but that's it.

Haha I know, I just like how they overreact to someone doing good for a short period of time

They probably listen to Sparky and Gary or whatever other clowns are on the air at 1250.

Earlier this year it was suggested that instead of off days for Lucroy, he should be moved to 2B on those days to play for Rickie.

Yes, second base. Because really any major leaguer should be able to play any position easily.

Is Gary Ellerson really a former Packer? Because I had never heard of him before he was on WSSP.

The fact that anyone is arguing to get rid of Lucroy is just insanity. Maldonado has done a great job so far but there's no way he could ever replace Luc. He's a great option for a back up catcher.

Yeah, he went to Wisconsin too. I think he was a Packer during the lean years, the 80s sometime.

My dad doesn't remember him either. He must have been a scrub.
