Signing Clemens would be a pure "butt-in-seats" move, for both him and Astros. He'd make league minimum, they'd get revenue for every start in September.

The Astros should see where he is after Saturday's start and then sign him. Either way, they will lose most of their games, but some people might actually be there to watch them lose.
