Medicare up 36% in 2 years to 273 billion.
Jobless benefits up from 43 billion to 160 billion.
Food stamps risen 80% to 70 billion.
Welfare up 24% to 22 billion.

See Obama really does care about us, well at least one class of us.

Obama just called me and said those were not his proudest. His proudest is the 16 trillion dollar deficit.

Really, dude? Now, the "16 trillion dollar deficit" is all on Obama? Come on. You can't be that stupid.

That's almost as dumb as offering massive tax cuts to the rich, starting an expensive prescription drug plan to fund Big Pharma, starting two wars to feed the military contractors ... and then not putting any of that on the books ... and then blaming the next guy.

I never said it was all on obama. But he promised to lower the deficit but has increased it by trillions.

Obama, at best, is inept.
And, that is not Bush's fault.

And Mitt Romney would only care about one class too! THE UPPER-SCALED CLASS who keep saying they will hire employees if given tax breaks. But in a way tax breaks are a form of welfare just the same.

You know Obama's views and regulations are entirely democratic aspects. Some are very very conservative. Yet...well you know the rest.

I'm with you here. I have a friend who is really smart. When he talks about something, you know he knows a lot about the subject. My friend could hardly wait to vote for Obama. Last night he was talking about how much Obama has messed up with Medicare, social security, and the national debt. He was saying giving interest %'s and debt amounts. Basically the United States will be in a terrible state if Obama is reelected because the country will continue to incur debt. If we have children, they could become slaves to the Chinese one day.

The Chinese are gonna have to step it up if they want to make us their slaves by buying our debt, since they currently own just over 6% it.

I can't tell if you're serious or not, but some people actually believe that the Chinese ownership of 6% of our debt is a threat to our sovereignty - so either way it's a joke.

The funny part is that if the Chinese were to cash in their bonds at the US Treasury window, they would get dollars in return. So they would go from holding interest-bearing paper to non-interest bearing paper.

Some crisis.

Your friend needs to educate himself about the workings of sovereign finance in a country that prints its own currency and is on a floating exchange rate.

Here's a start.

I seen Obama speak without his teleprompter once. That must have been a proud moment for him.

To balance the budget:

A. Raise taxes
B. Cut spending
C. Both A & B
D. Neither A or B (deficits do not matter)

Romney's real plan.

Cut taxes.

Spend more.

Promise to balance the budget.

Run bigger deficits than Obama.

Blame Congress.
