However, I have read that the Raps expect to bring 5 people with them when they present their offer and will offer the most money at 12 million per.

I hope this happens... It's not going to help the team long term but will definetely draw attention to the team across all of Canada. This would be massive for tv ratings.

Nothing bad can come from this. Nash can still play and it'll generate more interest in the team.

Bill Simmons has me convinced it's a good idea. Listen to yesterdays podcast. The Raptors discussion begins around the 34 minute mark. Has me high on last years number 1.... then goes into a pretty entertaining bit on Steve Nash. Really funny.

With or without Nash, the Raptors have little chance to be truly bad and pick up a franchise changing 1-2 lottery pick. Without Nash, next year, they are probably making a run at the playoffs. The East is awful.

Why they didn't tank more this year is beyond me.
