When was the last time you felt so good after tonights win?

The more you lose, the more enjoyable are those rare wins.

Sending JD Martinez down was a clear message to the rest of the team. They realize that they must start playing better if they want to stay at MLB level.

They can't and won't of course, but once the roster is expanded in September and they feel the hot breath of The Turk on the back of their necks - look for a few more wins.

It's a long process - sit back and enjoy the next 2 seasons.

And enjoy those rare wins now and then.

Yes. I'm very encouraged. We are now on our way to march back to the World Series.

It was fun, but I wouldn't say the losing made tonight sweeter. I mean, at this point, it's still ultimately a completely meaningless win, so it's hard to get too amped up over it. If it hadn't been a walk-off, would we be having this conversation?

I agree. But MLB Network interviewed Bogusevic, and asked him why the mob ended up in centerfield. He said they were releasing a lot of pent-up frustration - which is understandable, considering that going into last night's games, they had 4 wins in their last 38 games.

And while it WAS exciting to finally win one in their last at-bat, it wasn't exactly a well hit ball that did it.

On another note - i just saw the replay of pre-game when Jeff Bagwell threw out the first pitch. He threw it with his left hand. I guess his shoulder is just that bad. Sad.

I noticed that too. How depressing. He was my favorite Astro.

I remember Bagwell fielding then attempting to toss to pitcher covering first. Couldn't do it.
