What's interesting is that the article states that the hitters aren't getting the help they were getting a few years ago. Well either are the pitchers. So that point is a wash.

The reason for so many no hitters? As we have watched over the last few weeks, not poor, but bad offensive teams. We just can't expect to win getting 2 hits (but we did) or 3 or 4.

Agreed, there's powerhouse teams like the Yankees and Rangers... but not much else.
