Jason Castro will be a contender for comeback player of the year. He has looked awesome both at the plate and behind it this past month(excluding that ball that got away from him tonight when Maybin stole a base.), and I think we're finally getting the guy we were hoping to get back in 2010. I think he has a chance to be one of the better catchers in the AL next season. Thoughts?

Yea he shows alot of promise and at worse will be a solid catcher for years to come. He has a nice stroke at the plate and is still only 25.

I'm not saying he'll be an all star next season or anything, but I definitely think he has a realistic shot of finishing with a .270 to .280 average for the remainder of the season and carry that into next season. And he's pretty much the only guy on the team(except maybe Altuve) that can say he hasn't been a whiff machine at some point this year. I just hope Mills will finally let him put a good deal of games in consecutively, though I know he's probably just concerned for his recovery like Hop said.

.318/.367/.500 for Castro in the month of June, it's been a real boost.

30 minutes later, we're imploding in the 9th. Good job, chips. Good job.

Grand Slam. Oh. My. Goodness.

Still they would have been very lucky wining two in a row considering they have only 5 hits between the two games. They need to move on from some of these players and bring in some new blood. They are really missing Altuve during this stretch.

Only good thing in last 10 games is the Astros SP has an era of 2.02.

Maybe if we win the last game of the year we can say we went 180 days without a loss.

CJ made an error at 3B and Myers proceeded to get crushed. It was ugly and losing games like that are not good for the team or the fans. I guess the Padres would disagree.
