Have the Angels made any announcement on who will be the stadium announcer?

I was wondering that too. I haven't heard anything yet. I would think they are in the audition process right now.

...or I wonder if they'll use that other guy that subbed for David Courtney (RIP) when he did the Kings games during the baseball season.

They've never "announced" the stadium announcer in the past. Dennis Packer was it for many years, then was replace by david courtney, but they never made a public announcement about it.

That's about the only announcing job Mota hasn't had.

I hope they hire a woman.

I don't think you have to worry about Mota doing Public Address anouncing.

It's not one of the better paying positions in baseball.

Yeah, it's more of a side job. I remember along with his Angels Stadium announcing duties, David Courtney also announced LA Kings games and did traffic reports for ESPN Radio.

For a fan of the game it would be a cool job. Just need a understanding wife who has a good paying job. lol

I remember Dennis Packer. I always thought that he and David Courtney sounded similar.
