What's even funnier is that in early May, Hamilton was hitting over .400 while Pujols was hitting under .200.
Hamilton's worst month was July (.177/.253/.354, .607 OPS), by a lot.
Pujols' best month was July (.330/.411/.660, 1.071 OPS), by a lot.
Their seasons were opposite but similar in the end. Pujols did have a higher OPS+.
I remember before Pujols hit his first HR this season, he hit a few deep shots to LF in Anaheim that would have been gone in just about any other park.
