Deserving or not, I think it's time to make a change with the pitching coach. Just as Hatcher paid for the the hitters not performing, Butcher's going to have to be pay for what's going on with our pitchers.

Next guy may be better or not but the shake up often helps. As it did when Hatcher left.

Downs needs to get healthy quick as we are in a quick downward spiral.

And Mike is gonna have to be quicker with the hook when it's obvious a RP is choking.
Our RPs don't come back from a bad inning or at bat. They are too easily rattled.

The bottom line is players have to play... but all players hit funks and when they do, they need coaches. Hatcher was horrible at helpin someone out of a funk.. he's gone.. thank god. And now its Butcher! He is horrible. Angel pitchers rarely make adjustments. How about Fernando Rodney (look at him today). Our pitchers are obviously struggling.. the merry go round with average catchers doesnt help either. Get rid of Butcher and you will see changes.. MS is on the bubble at this point.. how in the heck do you leave Hawkins in that long?

It hurts more due to the fact the Angels position players are battling all game long. Even when the bullpen implodes and gives up a lead..

We should be talking about Morales and the rest of the offense today :(

I don't really blame Butcher for the bullpen meltdown. When you are depending on aging vets like Hawkins, Izzy, Takahashi and a now fragile Downs there really isn't much you can do..

On the other hand, if CJ and Greinke continue to struggle, Butcher must go..Santana's struggles doesn't help either

Something needs to happen to get this team out of its lull and that may do the trick. There is just no excuse for 90% of this teams pitching to be so bad.

I hate that the bullpen collapsed when Hester went down to AAA. Most of the pitchers did well with Hester catching them. No wonder they've gone bad since he went down.

The bullpen is probably the worst in the entire game. I knew the minute the starters couldn't gobble up 7 innings and / or Downs and Frieri came back down to earth, the middle relief would be exposed.

It's time for a change. I would promote Mex rod or SOMEONE from the farm. Carpenter and Takahashi are a disaster, and whatever pixie dust Hakwins, Isringhausen, and Jepsens has used is wearing off.
