With California Adventure reopening with Cars Land, Angels home against the D-Backs, and concerts at The Grove and Honda Center, hopefully traffic won't be too bad! :)

I've seen worse off topic threads.You can see the big A and stadium while riding Mickeys Fun Wheel...and next time I visit I'm spending time at Disneyland and time at Angel baseball games so that makes it NOT off topic

Beware of traffic conditions on the "57" north after tonight's baseball game.

Traffic last night was just fine until around the Imperial Hwy junction and then traffic slowed to no more than 40 mph when it wasn't stop-and-go. They're working on pavement on the "57" north and blocking off two lanes.

Last night the blocked lanes didn't appear until we had to continue past the "10", only opening up all lanes a few minutes later.

Apparently this work was supposed to have ended on June 11th and didn't.

We left right after the game ended, not staying for the fireworks, and traffic was just horrible at the points I mentioned above.

The opening of Carsland @ California Adventure shouldn't affect traffic at all, since the park opens in the morning, and closes well after the game would be over.

In mentioning concerts, you forgot to mention (or did I just not see it) that there is a concert after the game tonight? I think because the have everything so well organized for all these events that the only one that might impact traffic around the stadium would be the one at the Grove.

A good portion of the people attending a concert - or any event - at the Honda Center seem to get on the 57 fwy.
