They look fantastic out there. How can we go about making a petition for something like that? I'm serious. That's the uniform of a winner!

I've always liked this one. I think it's funny that the throwback jerseys may be better than the current ones.

I don't want one. I want the team to wear them.

I like the orange too ..but I don't care what color they wear as long as they win.

I am with you. I loved them. So much better than their current road uniforms.

I always hated those old jersies. Looked at them yesterday, and told my wife that I hated them then, and I still hate 'em now. Big, gaudy "D" on their hat, and those ugly block letters...

I think the current road jersies are much classier, and better looking by far...

Ah, well...different strokes for different folks.

Frankly, I don't care what uniform they wear, as long as they win. Of course, something like "Chico's Bail Bonds" (Bad News Bears) on the sleeve would look pretty cool! LOL

I agree with you. I like the current road uniform. I always liked the 1960's road jersey, the large uniform number on the right sleeve and block letters spelling out Detroit, but that is too simplistic for today's style. Best represented by photo of Mickey Lolich and Bill Freehan celebrating the 1968 WS. The road cap was the same, unlike today. No orange D. After Oakland came up with their uniform changes in late 60's and early 70's, baseball hasn't been the same on uniform choices and designs.

Y'know, I loved those road jersies, too!

Simple as could be. Gray, with thin blue block letters. Maybe that's part of why I hated the jersies they had on yesterday. Then again, maybe not. I just don't like them, and never did.

I like the 80's roadies simply for the fact that I remember how successful the Tigers were in them. Correct me if I am wrong but were the Tigers not one of the most successful teams by percentage in the 80's? Man I miss those days.

Yeah, but it's not due to the uniforms.

I think the script on their jersies now is much classier.

Oh just good memories. I'm not superstitious enough to think the old unis contributed to the success ;)
It really doesnt matter to me what they wear, so long as the end results mirror last night's.

Tbh, anything beats the Mariners and Padres throwbacks.

Imagine if the Mariners decided to go back to 1969 and wear those hideous Pilot uniforms.
