Did anyone see Josh Hamiltons episode yesterday when he went off on his third base coach? I can't stand this spoiled brat. Just last season he blasted his coach in the media (not sure if it was the same guy or not) for sending him home on a play and Hamilton got hurt. Ron Washington should have jerked his hind end out of the game and made an example of that spoiled brat goof. Of course we are talking about the same Ron Washington who told MLB officials that he (Washington) found a white powdery substance and didn't know what it was so he snorted it up his nose instead of disposing of it.

I can't stand Josh Hamilton.

We won that trade.

Okay, Volquez didn't work out, but we got Latos.

Latos is cheap and under control. We'll have him for several more years. If we had kept Hamilton we couldn't have afforded him or certainly not him AND Votto.

Just seen the play on MLB I think both base coachs may bad decisions on holding him up causing other runners to get caught in DP.

You are absolutely correct.

Atrocious coaching by the Rangers all around and while there is certainly enough anti-Josh hate to go around on this board, they don't consider that he indeed has the best interests of his TEAM in mind.

Hamilton is a selfless player.

The Rangers absolutely love the guy, and go out of their way to have non-alcoholic celebrations in the clubhouse during their two recent World Series runs.

With a little luck, Hamilton would have had the series winning HR in a World Series game last season, and people on here have the chutzpah to say their thankful he's not a Red!

I've always like Josh but after those actions yesterday thats iffy right now. If you disagree with your 3B coach you do it behind closed doors after the game or even in the tunnel after the inning. You don't do it out there on the field for the world to see. There's no excuse for that, Rangers should suspend him without pay for a couple games.

Josh's time in TEX is drawing down. I do not think he will get a huge contract from anyone either unless it is the Dodgers or Yankmee's

Watch out for the Nationals, that would be the piece that puts them over the top IMO.

I disagree.

That play at third was atrocious and led to a killing of a rally and the Rangers getting doubled up on the base paths because their 3rd base coach flat out messed up.

Hamilton is a humble guy, and a team player. He saw this as a play that potentially put his team in a very bad situation by a coach who fell asleep on the job.

Ironically, the player most often suggested as the one who had the most problems with Hamilton in Cincy is BP.

As great a talent as Phillips is, there is no more ME ME type player out there than Brandon. I think Phillips had problems with Josh potentially taking the spotlight off of him in Cincinnati.

Always thought BP was a little over the top myself but he's never called out out his coaches on the field. That is completely unacceptable. I know this is probably a 1 time thing from Josh, but its like the guy that breaks 1 law and gets caught. You gotta go to jail and he needs to be disciplined.

Okay, Volquez didn't work out, but we got Latos.

======

Actually, we got Johnny Cueto in that trade. Mat Latos came from San Diego.

I've never understood all the LUV for Josh. I admire the fact that he overcame addition and made a comeback, BUT he has his little relapses over and over and just because he gets on tv and says he sorry all is forgiven time after time and teams have to pay for a person to watch over him all the time! I'm with you, he's a little spoiled brat!!!!!!!!!!!!
