Hopefully Harrison pitches better than he did in the All Star game, as well.

The weak offense appears to go deeper than just a teamwide slump.

Earlier today I showed the game starting at 2:35, and now it's listed for 3:10. Did they set up traffic barriers to force motorists to attend, or was my listing just wrong from the start?

I think it was wrong temporarily. My ESPN Scorecenter app on my phone yesterday and today has said 3:10 start the whole time.

Catcher Yorvit Torrealba will not be with the Texas Rangers during their three game series against the Athletics in Oakland because his wife is expecting a baby.

Torrealba will fly back to be with his wife in the Miami area, but he is expected to return to the team next weekend when it visits the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, Calif.

Some of you may have noticed the Rangers called up Luis Martinez due to the Napoli injury.

So we now have 1 catcher? Eek.

Though I guess Napoli could conceivably come back tomorrow.

Tomorrow's an off day and the series with Oakland is only 2 games followed by another off day on Thursday. So if all goes well with the birth of Yorvit's child he should miss only a couple of games. They also have Snyder as an emergency catcher.

Wash said he figured Napoli could catch if need be, then the Rangers called up Martinez. Kinda makes you wonder just how much RW has to say about his roster. Anyway, Martinez is a good catcher, and maybe he'll get a start in Oakland. I thought that A's series was just two games.

Michael moved back to the #5 spot AND is at 1st base. I wonder what photos he got of Wash this time?

Andrew Jones can help his old team as the tying run.

I wonder why Frieri is not pitching.

Then again, I haven't watched some of this game...he might have pitched earlier in this game.

Who else can play first (well) if Napoli is out?

Frieri already pitched and is the reason the Angels are in trouble this inning.
