Wow, what a show by Tiger and Rory today, cumulatively 15 under par in round one in the same threesome.

Tiger starting to prove that he can be less arrogant and temper tantrum prone and still play wonderful golf. Maybe he has finally grown up emotionally to match his amazing talent.

And Rory? Superstar and a class act.

Well, we don't have Gaddafi to kick around anymore in Libya. The U.S. needs to make a statement, once again, but what do you do in the face of insanity, which is what rules in all these radicalized Islamic states?

These people can only be controlled by a military dictator, IMO, and you need to think hard before you kick the Saddam Husseins and Muammar Gaddafis out of power.

Look at Egypt. You think they regret that one yet? Insanity.

Oh wow, I didn't know what specific instance you were referring to, but now I see. Sad to see that.

Robert Wayne Harris was executed this evening (at 6:43pm) in Huntsville. His last words were:

"God Bless and the Texas Rangers, Texas Rangers."

Ooookay.

Maybe the drip was already taking effect.

Showing his respect for that great law enforcement agency, perhaps.

Ryder cup morning matches, 2-2.

I can not believe captain Davis Love III sent the worst team on the course this morning back out in the afternoon. I am watching it tape delayed by 2 hours, so I hope that Tiger and Stricker make me eat my words, but Tiger was as awful as you can get this morning. His entire Ryder Cup career has been awful.

I think if Zinger had said what he was really thinking in the booth when he saw that team back out, he would have said something like, "Davis! My God! Pull your head out of your @$$!!!!!!!"

Dufner and Zack Johnson were money this morning, and they are sitting after getting one of the two points for the U. S.

Incredible.

Come on Tiger, make me eat my words!

Did you see the shot Westwood made out of the water hazard?

I don't usually follow the Ryder cup but I saw your post and found the coverage on ESPN. I'm usually done with golf after the PGA but this is pretty interesting.

These guys are good!

Mickelson/Bradley have been awesome. Never seen another player energize Phil as well.

Colsaerts for the Euros has made 7 birdies and an eagle in the match against Woods/Stricker. He has been amazing.

Bubba/Webb duo was unbeatable, too.

Saw that shot by Westwood. Amazing shot, but he has just been along for the ride with Colsaerts.

There is nothing in golf like the Ryder Cup, but lately it has usually been a Euro celebration.

Yeah, I think the Euros dominating in the recent past is one reason I just ignored it.

Tiger made a much improved showing in the afternoon match. Too bad he wasn't paired with a better partner. Stricker was a handicap.

Nice finish today.

Davis evidently is not making changes in his pairings. Sat. morning he is sitting Woods/Stricker in the alternate shot, thankfully.

Olazabal is mixing his up some, and definitely coming back with Colsaerts, but with Sergio this time.

Davis is sitting Dustin Johnson/Kuchar in the alternate shot again, which surprises me a little since they played very well. Maybe he doesn't like them in alternate shot for some reason, or just couldn't fit them in since he has 4 strong teams going out anyway. Furyk/Snedeker is the only team that lost, but he would have been sitting them two sessions in a row. Sometimes guys don't play well with the other guys ball brand, and maybe that's part of it. Supposedly Woods and Stricker had that problem. I thought they just picked one guys ball and both played with it, but that's not what it sounded like for those two.

Great first day for the home team, which could have been even better.
