Repeat that in English and with a less whiny voice please.
What am I supposed to be humbled by exactly and what does that have to do with the question posed?
""If you are somehow trying to lay that on NH after the disastrous mess he inherited...""
And Huntington was 3 years removed from "that mess" in 2010. The Pirates lost 105 in 2010 due to the collective failures of Andy LaRoche, Lasting Milledge, Aki Iwamura, Jeff Clement, Ross Ohlendorf, and Charlie Morton. None of which had a thing to do with the "mess" Huntington inherited.
No doubt Neal has made several evaluation mistakes (I would NOT include Charlie Morton in that list.) But here is the reality of the situation: After watching one Pirate "5 year plan" after another fail miserably at the ML and minor league levels since 1992....I am now watching Neal's "5 year plan" result (in year 5) in a very interesting/competitive ML team and a minor league system that is dominating at the AAA level and is in better shape throughout than it has been in decades.
That's not my opinion....that is a fact. Not to recognize that has become tiresome and delusional.
