Josh Miller and Chris Mueller think the Penguins should play tonight. That the people of Boston need a distraction because they've been holed up all day.

This guy might have a bomb strapped to him but who cares. Let's put another sports venue at risk on the heels of another murder and escape. Furthermore, I'm sure the police and FBi would love to see the Penguins play tonight.

Why do they think fans will be allowed to go? The guy has not been captured yet.

If they were suggesting to have the game in Providence or something, I guess that would make some sense.

Miller was thinking in front of an empty arena.

Why do they think a game has this much importance?

I take it there has been no decision on whether the Pens and Bruins will play tonight ? I heard that the Red Sox game for tonight has been calcelled.

They can watch on TV. That will make everyone feel better about a guy on the loose in their region with a bomb strapped to him.

So the only TV program that will work in Boston is a hockey game. Brilliant.

Bob Pompeani said yesterday that Starling Marte reminds him of Rennie Stennett both physically and their games.

Dear God...

Are they anything alike? Other than they are both black. I guess Stennett did not walk much. That is terrible.

Whoever they had on last night after Colin Dunlap was not bad.

I'm not sure but (uh oh) after Colin I think they go with the national CBS Radio folks.

This was Sunday night at 10 pm, not CBS yet as they had Bill Brink on and then someone to talk about the Penguins.

Aside from Marte being taller, faster, having a better arm and more power I can see that. If you ignore that they play different positions.

When McCutchen first came up, he reminded me a great deal of Tony Gywnn.

Reminds me of Clemente.Same body type. There power is very similar .Roberto never saw a pitch he didn,t like.He didn,t miss many of them though.Starling runs the bases a lot like Roberto .He,s going for that triple, any chance he gets.Like Marte,Roberto had very few walks. He was up there to hit.Roberto was the greatest defensive rightfielder ever. We,ll have to see how Marte,s defense progresses throughout his career.I like what I see so far!!!

Agreed that if anyone disagrees with Alexander he thinks he's an idiot, and Giannatti tweeting Graham repeatedly in an effort to get banned from Graham's twitter account. Very, very professional. What a credit to his profession. What happened to those in the media supposed to not be a part of a story?
