Yup, it's a different game now than it was a few years ago. That's why when Capuano had a 4.50-ish ERA for most of the year last year and people were saying he was "solid" for us, I didn't get it at all. That actually placed him in the bottom half of #5 starters in ERA in the NL last year. Some people haven't realized yet that game has changed dramatically.
>It's just returned to form. Guys that hit 40, 50 + home runs consistently are special, once in a generation type guys like Mantle, Killebrew, those kind of guys. It just shows how hard this game really is without cheating.<
