Imagine what they spend on fireworks? Also I recall last winter making such a big deal over that college hockey game, I was thinking my oh my, don't we need some players?? maybe a left fielder??and they are more concerned about getting folks in for a hockey game, that started to really show me what their true colors are...

I have no idea who did it but that was an excellent job and it should make the FO think about their BS ad campaign. Their big slick marketing campaign just got bested by some college people for free.

They could have taken what it cost for that BS ad and put it intothe team also. Then again that all comes out of the buisness ad budget.

What if they actualy wanted to win the world series. That is what I am asking

Most of the fireworks I am sure are paid for by whomever is sponsoring the fireworks on that night and the Indians themselves don't pay out for all the fireworks displays. Every team has fireworks including the Minor Leagues like in Toledo they will advertise the fireworks and they might be sponsored this night by Krogers and someone else sponsors the next one and the next one.

It is just like with the vendors, they are signed to contracts and the Indians don't buy the food for them to sell but they do make a profit off what they sell, same with the fireworks, the Indians might pay something towards it if anything but they are not footing the bill for those extravagant fireworks displays.
