Some of you may remember me, alot of you wouldn't. Until a few years ago I was a regular poster until my job kept me away. Anyways, it is nice to see some of the old crew and I look forward to meeting many of the new. I am a Tribe fan going back to the 60's. Yeah, I'm old! Anyways, I am watching the game today V Houston, and the Houston announcers are the broadcast crew today. (MLB package on Charter Communications.) They were discussing three of the four AL teams they have played were in first at the time. (Texas, Chicago and Cleveland.) Then came the caveat. "Well, it is really misleading. Cleveland doesn't have a good club. Much worse for those who play the AL East a lot." How can you argue with that? Point is, this team could be much better. But I doubt the FO will spend the money to do so. I really hope I am proven wrong here.

If we get a right hand power bat that can fit into the middle of the line up, our offense would look quite a bit different. It would instantly help everyone around him.

I really think two. The offensive capability is horrendous. This 1-2-3 ground out, ground out and K is really old. Boring. Hagadon, Gomez, Sipp and Accardo cant all go bad at once can they? Coaching? Manager? I dont know. This is a third place 4th place team in any other division.

I agree, thats all it takes. They actually need 2 RH bats, one with power, and then maybe one that can hit LH pitching and platoon.

But, by just having that RH power bat in the lineup, with someone like Hafner batting behind him, players like Santana, Brantley, and Lopez should all see better pitches hitting that much lower in the lineup.

This FO not aggressively going after Willingham was one of the biggest blunders I have ever seen. He wasn't that expensive, compared to somebody like Cuddyer.

Hendrick, I agree completely. This team is close. Frustratingly so..I am hoping the FO smells profit and goes for it. Willingham would have been a great fit, I agree.

Clemson my brother!!!!! How are you, man?! Yes..it is great to be able to post again..I really missed you all! It was such a drag when I couldnt get my iphone to work here, when I was on the road! Thanks for the welcome back! God bless, bro!
