The wrist was bothering him for awhile. This is not news. This was why the Colvin/Stewart trade was buy low/sell low. Colvin was hitting .154

Lets see.....$30 Thou divided by 9...little over $3 Mil a tear.....I mean hopefully a year. I accidently typed in "tear" instead of "year".

$3 mil for possibly a Superstar for the majority of 9 years is a steal!!....on the other hand, it won't be Soriano like if he don't pan out. Good one Theeego!.....A-

What? Let me fix.....

Lets see.....$30M divided by 9... a little over $3M / year!

$3M / year for a possible superstar for 9 years is a steal!! On the other hand, it won't be 'Soriano-like' if he doesn't pan out. Good one Theeego!.....A-

I've heard that all the MRIs reveal no structural damage in Stewart's wrist. What are they going to do when the slice it open??
I just hope he's 100% for his Survivor stint.

There is apparently some calcium buildup or bone spurs.

Yes it's been ongoing for a couple of years. It was sore when the season started.

I'll chime in here and blast you (again) for your stupidity...

I 100% promise you that the best Doctors in this city gave Stewart a clean bill of health and that's why he was traded for. If there was an inkling of an injury that could cause surgery down the road they would never have traded for him.

Alas, that normal logic goes completely against your hatred of Theo & Jed... so continue the pathetic spin job.

That's precisely my point - if the injury was something that: 1) Appeared on a standard physical 2) Looked like it could cause a surgical situation the Cubs would never have traded for him.

Unless in your warped mind you honestly believe Theo/Jed knew this, the Doctors advised against the trade and they still did it. I mean.. in your warped sense of reality that COULD be the case. I'm just not certain.
