Ron could use some big shoes and a red nose, because only a clown would bat Carlos Gomez 2.

You mean Carlos Gomez and his .304 OBP doesn't belong in the 2 hole?

No, he doesn't. Nor does Morgan and his .309 OBP.

Back to Morgan, thrown out because he forgot the count.

AHHHH! Gotta Go!!

Didn't he get thrown out when running on a liner yesterday? Where he thought there were two outs, I think that's two straight days of stupid baserunning mistakes.

We gotta give nyjer a break. Everyone loved him last year and now he stinks cuz hes struggled for most of the year? We have to remember he was basically an everyday player last year. Hes got a new role this year with gomez back and the signing of aoki. It takes time to get used to changes in roles. He'll come around soon, intact he's already starting to.

As for baserunning mistakes, they shouldn't happen but they do and they happen to everyone. In nyjers case its just about being frustrated about his play.

Lets just try to remember how clutch he was last year and try to give him the benefit of the doubt at least a little while longer

Actually some here hated him even last year, it was tough not to after he ran his mouth in the playoffs and then did nothing in the most important series of the season. Fact is he had a good season, better than what would have been expected and it was great but many saw the regression coming and unfortunately it's been about as bad as it could have been. It seems that he wears out his welcome after a couple seasons, on and off the field, it happened in Pittsburgh and Washington.

I'm just glad that he's at least not running his mouth off as he's struggling and doesn't seem to be bringing the team down with him.

I think its because he really likes, and wants to stay a brewer.

Or he just grew up a little

I just think hes got the potential to turn it around and hope he does.

I liked the fire he brought last year. It seemed to help the crew through a couple of rough patches and hope that fire and overall play can come back because I kinda like plush. It made me laugh and right now I could use a laugh or two

He's a clown. But, hey, he said he knew the count. He's just a stupid baserunner

He claimed he called his own "hit and run". Yeah, with 2 outs, a 3-1 count, and Kottaras at the plate, that was the PERFECT place for it.

It'd be better if he just admitted he screwed up.

Yeah, I'm sure he is just trying to cover for himself. There was that time last year where he did get the game winning hit but he didn't get excited at 1st because he thought it was the 8th inning. How is he so unaware of the situation so often?

He has been turning it around at the plate lately, he's having a great month of June (.293/.370/.512 OPS of .882) compared to .612 in May and .406 in April, though I doubt its really sustainable, his K rate is up this month above 20% and his BABIP is pretty high at .345, and that's without his linedrive rate really going up much at all. It's been a good month for him at the plate, but safe to say he's been pretty lucky too.

His career numbers pointed to him coming around at some point. Has a career .280 batting avg or something like that.

Can't take a walk for spit and can't hit lefties though.

Likes to fall asleep in the OF too on fly balls sometimes.

getting to the point where Morgan is way too much of a liability to even have in the game at all. So far a misplay in the outfield, a huge rally kill with another mental error, somehow not getting to 2nd on the backend of a double steal where the runner at 3rd is thrown out, and an 0-fer at the plate. Setting new lows everyday
