I bet they have. Playing in the tourney for those guys that weren't recruited by major schools and getting a chance to play in the NCAA is probably beyond their wildest dreams.

The NCAA tournament is a pretty awesome deal for these kids. It's no Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl but even losing by 40 to Kentucky will be something they'll take with them, playing in the NCAA tournament. I bet the Western Carolina kids were devastated last night.

Western Illinois takes on S. Dakota St. for the Summit League title at 8:00

and North Texas and Western Kentucky meet for the Sun Belt Championship at 6:00

Yeah, as fans of UW and MU who consistently make the tourney, we sometimes overlook how special it really is to make it to the dance.

I always feel terrible for those small schools that lose in their title game knowing pretty much that was their only chance to get to the big dance.

well some of us are fans of UWM and UWGB as well, and watch their games, it'd be awsome if either of them can get back in the tournament.

Green Bay had a nice run from '91 to '96. Painful to watch but did beat Jason Kidd and Cal in 1994.

One major positive they have heading into the next couple years, is that 7-footer Alec Brown, he's had a good last couple seasons, but he can take his game to the next level I think, just needs to get a bit stronger.
