Great season for both state teams. Wisconsin played great tonight and Marquette couldnt shoot.

You know what. I hate sports fans. Most of them are some of the least intelligent people on this planet. Look on just about any website, and it is terrible. I like sports, but most fans are just unintelligent, and hateful.

It's a one and done. You play bad you lose and go home. Marquette played bad. Still love DJO and Jae. Wish they could have gone farther but it was a great year. Hope Wisky fan feels the same way about Jordan Taylor and their season.

Terribly disappointing but I tip my hat to Florida who is now 18-2 in March since 2006. That's impressive. Buzz has a ton of talent in the pipeline. Keep on keeping on

It's really too bad Taylor's last shot was that one, but what a run he had at Wisconsin. He's a smart and talented player. He could be a nice surprise player in the NBA.

I'm gonna miss DJO and Crowder too, couple of tough players who gave their all. Just a <shitty night, was so hopeful we'd be watching a meaningful Elite 8 this year. Now it just feels...eh.

Well, that <sucked. Badgers played great though, Syracuse was just a little bit better tonight. Wish we could have made a couple more free throws or Rob Wilson could have driven into the lane on that last play instead of kicking it back out to Taylor, but oh well. And yeah, had Bo called a timeout we would have had none left and he doesn't like to leave an inbounder without a timeout, so I completely understand not taking a TO. Taylor will be missed. It was a pleasure watching him for 4 years.

Duquense fired their coach. It's expected a Kentucky assistant will get the job. Coach Cal is expected to fill that position with one of Illinois' ex-assistants. The ex-assistant was the conduit to the Chicago prep area, a tough world to navigate.

So, whoever Illinois hires, will be battling with Kentucky and Cal for Chicago recruits.

Kentucky-Indiana was simply a beautiful game. Clark Kellog hits it on the head talking about how nice it is to see two teams put the ball through the basket.

Kudos to Tom Crean. Indiana is going to win a title much sooner than later but Kentucky is the best team we've probably seen since '05 UNC or '07 Florida. What a pleasure to watch

Why do Marquette fans seem to hate Crean? I thought he did a great job getting that program back on the map.

Some seem to think he was always looking for another job. I'm not sure how true that was. He had a chance to leave for Illinois in 2003 and turned down a chance to interview for Kentucky after Tubby was let go. That's when they hired Billy Gillispie.

His name getting thrown around those years got him some fat raises but that's what Marquette has to do to keep people they want.

He drastically improved their facilities to the point they have some of the best in the nation. He helped push them into the Big East prior to 2006 when most around the program were hesitant. He was really nothing but good for the program.

When he left, he said "it's Indiana.". That rankled some people. But he's right. It's Indiana. It's a top 5 program. Kentucky, UCLA, Kansas, Indiana & North Carolina. Those are hard to say no to.

Some Marquette fans thought they'd get Sean Miller and one guy I know who graduated from there uttered Calipari's name. There's a lot of delusion in sports fans, especially when it comes to where they think their favorite program ranks. When Bo Ryan leaves, coaches aren't going to knock down the door to coach at Wisconsin but I'm sure there's all kind of crazy names that'll get thrown around.

Louisville is the first of the Final Four. No one saw that out of that region.

Kentucky-Louisville at the Final Four would require the Kentucky national guard being called out.

Taylor is too slow, an average ball handler, and has issues shooting the ball. I'd be surprised if he played more than 2 years in NBA.

Also, what the <hell happened to Leslie Visser's face? She looks like she got multiple shot of botox and a face lift while starving herself.
