White Sox, keep an eye on em. Only team with pitching up and down in that division.
Tigers have the best starter, but they have a full staff.
I kinda like the White Sox. I mean, they hate the Cubs and that's an honorable trait.
I'd like to see them do well, but with the Tigers around, I don't know how realistic it is.
Peavy isn't mediocre. Chris Sale isn't a bad young pitcher either.
If Dunn and Konerko pound, that lineup's not bad.
Peavey has been mediocre since he got to the AL. So far this year though, he looks like he is returning to his old form.
I was actually saying the Tigers pitching is mediocre and they could slug their way through it. The White Sox are looking pretty good, but when it's all said and done, I expect them to be nearly 10 games back of Detroit.
More power to him if he can be a solid mid-rotation guy.
I think they're the only team there that can keep up.
Peavy has been hurt since he got traded, this is the first year he's come in healthy.
Konerko is coming off a really nice year. Ramirez, Rios, and Pierzynski can put together good seasons every so often.
End of the season, probably not much of a factor, but they could be like the Indians last year.
The Phillies lineup tonight is awful:
LF Juan Pierre2B Pete OrrSS Jimmy RollinsRF Hunter PenceCF Shane Victorino3B Ty Wigginton1B Laynce NixC Brian Schneider
Gotcha, whoever they are.
Cards blow ANOTHER save, yes! Cubs have runners on the corners with 2 down in the 9th. Tie game at 2.
the cubs scored their first run when the ump called the baserunner safe on a throw to the plate in which the runner never even touched home plate
now in the 10th, molina clearly threw the runner out stealing 2nd and he was called safe
2 absolutly horrible calls
