If no setbacks Aardsma will be back next month. He's made 2 rehab appearances. Feliciano is a long shot for September. Joba should be back in August if all goes well.

Feliciano actually threw a 25 pitch bullpen session today. If he makes it back anytime before the end of the season it would be a miracle.

Feliciano thinks he will be back this season, most likely September if he is healthy. With the expanded rosters in September, it wouldn't hurt to have him around. If he does well enough, he could find his way on the post season roster.

Wade has had a poor month. If he doesn't turn it around with Aardsma and Joba on the way back he very well could be gone.

Some of you people are so impatient. Yes Wade has struggled lately but he has pitched really well in April and May. I'm not giving up on him yet. I see no reason he can't return to his earlier form.

IMO Wade has been doing alright- he is just way too prone to throwing a bad elevated pitch once in a while. He'll be doing well against a batter and then BAM elevated 89 mph fastball up in the zone. I think he can return to form.

He'll probably do whatever he can to make it back before the season ends for the very reason of wanting a job next season. If he can't, he's probably going to be looking at a minor league contract next offseason until he proves 100% healthy.

You're welcome. Joba threw BP and felt no problems with either the elbow or the ankle. I agree that we have gotten more out of Wade than we ever could have imagined. It will be nice to have Joba and Aardsma ready to take that slot soon. Our pen is awesome as it is.

Jose is not returning this season. We got ripped off signing him.

How about the leftie we had at spring training named Cabral. He was set to make the team but came up with an injury that was to hold him out for about a month. The month has long gone and I have not heard a peep about him. I believe he was a power leftie ... anyone have an update on Cabral ?

Why did the Yankees even sign Feliciano? His long stint on the DL has made the number amount of games in which Carl Pavano started with the Yankees look like the Cal Ripken streak. That guy will probably never make one appearance in a Yankee uniform.

Don't get me started on that. I'm kind of tired of posting threads bashing Brian Cashman.
