When the Sox goes into extra innings you might as well do what I do and change the channel. Off the top of my head I can think of an 11 inning game, 13 innings, 14 innings, 17 innings and whatever the heck tonight was. Not once could they even luck out a run. The lineup might as well go to the plate with rolled up newspaper. I can't even recall the last time they ever won a game in extra innings. On the other hand I'm hard pressed to think of the last time the Yanks lost one. This is simply not Boston's year to make the playoffs and to be honest they don't deserve it.
