The offense is perfect now.  No need to add anything to it.

There is not much doubt that he can contrubute.  If not with the White Sox then certainly somewhere else.  The Sox are to be applauded for giving Jose a little something in return for his services last year.

Yes Canseco can still produce.  Of course there's no room right now on the Sox offense.  Everyone looks pretty sharp.  But do you think anyone would make a trade for him?

Of course he can help the team. He was our best hitter in the second half of last season.

Either Lee or Thomas would have to get injured or traded before you'd bring Canseco.

Canseco would only be of help to the Sox if two of the following were injured for an extended period of time: Thomas, Konerko, Lee , Ordonez, and Liefer.
Barring that unlikely eventuality, there should be no purpose for signing him other than as repayment for a job well done last year. If there is any purpose other than that, then
take me off the roster of the Kenny Williams defense league and sign me up for the "Kenny's gotta go" club. The only reason to meddle with this offense, if you are a GM, would be if you were a narcissistic egomaniac. I have given KW more credit than that for 2 years, and will continue to unless he proves otherwise.

Congratulations!

Saying Clayton was better offensively than Canseco ranks in your Top 10 list of stupid replies to my posts - and that takes some doing!

But of course Corg is right about the last half of last season.

Okay, it's official!

We have at least two fans who don't have a clue.

Oh hell, bainesy, I never have had a clue. I just go to 30 some games a year and sit there with my eyes closed, back turned, and mind shut off, perhaps deprived of oxygen from sitting in the upper deck.
