Kraft and Moreno care about the fans....Kraft is and Moreno quickly becoming a fan favorite in their respective communities.....I thought Kraft's comments were first class after the game today.

Except Angels' fans aren't all fat. . .

And the Angels don't need huge gifts from the refs to make it happen.

The only connection I see is GREAT COACHING.

yeah, maybe the Angels will get some good "no-calls" in the last innings like the Pats did.

I will say, "nice number analysis" by the original poster. But, dude, do you not have something better to do?

Hey Halofan,

Yor're missing a VERY IMPORTANT connection between the Pats & Halos. They both took 42 years of existense to win their first world championship.

This may sound a bit cliche, but when I learned about how long it took the Patriots to win their 1st title, I somehow knew in the back of my mind, that the Angels were gonna do good things that year, because I knew that it just happened to be the Angels 42nd year. No Joke. Call me crazy, but I just knew.

Well there you go!

You're right, I didn't even know the Patriots were the same age as the Angels.

Numerology dictates rooting for New England.
Childhood years spent in Charlotte dictate rooting for Carolina.

Tough choice.

I'm a believer!

Anyone else believe in the Eagles/A's connection?

o They both have a couple of key assets
(Mulder/Hudson/Zito, McNabb/Duce) that
will always keep them in contention,
whatever their other flaws might be.
o They both start off slow, and go on a
second-half tear.
o They both got to watch their opponents
celebrating in the playoffs, in their own
house, the last two seasons.
o They both have a fanbase known for being,
um, "unruly"

Not only was it their 42nd year.......

they traded away No. 42 (Moo Vaughn) whom they owed $42 million.....

If you just knew, you should have hit Vegas. The Angels were 50:1 to win the series in 2002.

A $1,000 bet would yield $50,000 grand!
